Welcome I am glad you dropped by to visit our site. I live in a small rural town called Carleton, which is located in South East Michigan. Our web site is enduring a change in name as my wonderful partner and, very best friend will be relocating to Texas in March of 2010. Making us "Reiki Blessings North and South" with dedication as it should be to the memory of her wonderful spouse Joe who passed in December of 2009.
I have been married to my very best friend now for over twenty years with four wonderful children, all grown. My family has remained ever expanding with my children getting married having their own children. I remain today a proud Grandama, spoiling my Grandchildren, as we all do. I have one dog Penelope (the pug), who remains within my home, very spoiled, and is commonly called the "princess" of the house.
I work for a mental health agency within the county I reside as a social worker. Many years ago I felt this was my calling due to my past life experience and, I wanted to help other people as I had been helped along my path.
My journey with Reiki started in 2001 upon a visit to the hospital where I saw a brochure about Reiki and felt compelled to investigate what it was all about.
I had many Reiki sessions myself and started to notice new things happening to me. My hands were always tingling as well, as I became calmer with a feeling of peace. I noticed many changes within myself that included healing taking place within my body and mind. It was at this time I knew I was meant to be a Reiki Master and Teacher.
Along this path I have opened to a whole new world of being. I developed the following gifts that I now share with others to help guide them. I consider myself an empathic and intuitive reader, I also have the gift of clairaudience and, receive messages from spirit. I am aware of my guides and the many blessings they contribute to my life. I feel we are all here for a purpose and, our lessons are learned upon the earth.
I enjoy nature very much and love the smell of what each season can bring us. I enjoy gardening, reading, and being with my family and friends. Most of all, I enjoy sharing with like minds, helping others, sharing information, and learning new challenges that come with awakening.
