BeardiePaw Pottery is owned and operated by Sherry Morrow. We offer stoneware and earthenware made here in our studio along beautiful Lake Erie in Monroe, Michigan . While most of the work is thrown on the potter's wheel, we also do handbuilding as well. Our stoneware glazes are foodsafe, dishwasher safe and microwave safe.

Please email us for availability as our supply is limited. We do not make hundreds of each item, each is made by hand, usually on the potter's wheel. We welcome custom orders. This colander is made of buff stoneware which has a wonderful texture which highlights the Spearmint glaze. Where the glaze is thinner, the warm color of the body begins to shine through.

Raspberry Stoneware Plate buff body 8 in. These plates were made with those who go to Rennaissance Faires and SCA events. The rim is more upright, making it almost a shallow bowl. This serves for times when the plate full of food must be carried to a table and will help to keep juices from spilling over. The foot ring also serves by giving the user a better way to carry a hot plate and can protect against burned fingers from a hot plate bottom.
