Gettysburg

My husband Joe, and I decided to pack up and drive to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, which is not far from where we were born.  We stayed at a lovely Bed and Breakfast called the Keystone Inn.  If you travel to the Civil War Battlefield, give this delightful place a glance.  Nice people, lovely rooms, and wonderful food!

Unfortunately the town  was over run with tourists, so ghost hunting was very difficult.  We plan to go back when it is quieter.  We got a few good pictures, but the locusts were buzzing so loudly, EVP was out of the question.  However, we did give it a shot, braving boy scouts, mosquitoes, tourists and the 100 degree heat.  Not to mention the wonderful mists that descend on Pennsylvania.  No, not ghosts, just good old fashioned mist.  I suspect this may be the cause of at least a few of the nighttime pics with mist on them that people bring home.

I am putting up a few of the pictures we got, not all have ghosts, (at least not visible ones) but Gettysburg is the place I would love to move to and settle down in.

Sign from Civil War

The sign on the table is Chilling, but true....

This is an illusion, I'm sure

Cashtown Inn

This historic Inn housed the Confederates as they marched down "the Pike".

Faces or Reflection???

You decide.

Faces in the window.

I think they may be reflection, but I couldn't figure out where the reflection was coming from.

Devil's Den from Little Round Top

See the wonderful mist that decends on the countryside in Pennsylvania?

Way back in the darkness, a lone orb watches.

In my second shot, the orb disappeared.

Sach's Bridge mist

A slight mist appeared when we went back to the bridge after our night excursion, you can just see it forming at the top right of the roof. The next two pictures were taken seconds apart.

Sach's Bridge mist 2

The mist is getting a little heavier

Sach's bridge 3.

Here the mist is full blown.

Night at Sach's Bridge

See the lightning bug bottom right. but at the tip of the trees, two orbs balance. These I suspect are bugs, too.

Moving Orb inside bridge

This orb was not a lightning bug. I checked and made sure none were flashing before I shot.

Sach's orb

here is a nice example

Here is Joe, at the bridge and a few friends

Skeeter moon

I couldn't resist this one. Top upper left is a red half moon, right a skeeter, and an nice orb.

Skeeters

Last mosquito pics, but I wanted to demonstrate what they looked like on film. These are not spirits, they are not ghosts, they are skeeters!

Spangler's Spring

We got lots of orbs and many were bugs or moisture. But we have a couple that were possibly real. I felt the presence near.

Triangle Field

My camera wasn't working right, of course, and I felt the strong pull of a presence to the right of the field. Low and Behold, there he was. In all the pictures I took at the field, this was the only one that showed anything, but the place felt alive with activity. At the bottom of the field I knew we were being watched, but couldn't catch it on film.

Sach's Bridge Apparition!

Ahh, to be back in Pa, where we grew up, floating down a creek on a warm summer morning...that would be the life.....
